Itinerary

Make your own way to Palma where you can meet us for the scheduled group transfers to your beachfront hotel in Playa de Palma. Relax and meet your travelling companions.

Our exciting journey begins in Palma’s winding, atmospheric streets. We’ll visit the circular Castillo de Bellver and walk through the historic centre. Gourmet heaven awaits at the Mercat de l’Olivar market, before a stop at Palma’s oldest bakery.

Afterwards, we’ll travel to Consell in the heart of the wine region where we’ll visit Mallorca’s oldest bodega, Bodegues Ribas. We’ll learn about the production of local wine before enjoying a tasting.

Fornalutx is one of Spain’s prettiest mountain villages. We’ll stroll leafy lanes, take in historic stone buildings and look out over fragrant orange groves. Next, we’ll visit Finca Ecovinyassa, an organic producer of citrus fruits, for a tour and taste of freshly squeezed juice.

Enjoy free time in the tapas bars and shops in the centre of Sóller, before our trip to La Granja in Esporles. The 10th century manor house sits in the estate gardens and showcases traditional Mallorcan crafts. You’ll relish wine from wooden barrels and homemade fig bread.

Today is yours to do as you please, with the ocean, silky sands and sparkling swimming pools on the doorstep of your hotel room.

Our first stop is Aubocassa, a 24-hectare Finca with nearly 8,000 olive trees. The 12th century manor house and estate produces award-winning extra virgin olive oil. We’ll sample the products after discovering manufacturing secrets. The Monastery of Sant Salvador perches high on the mountain of Felanitx, offering a spectacular photo vantage point. Our journey into tradition continues with a trip to Santanyi, a picture-perfect town with original Mallorcan houses to explore with free time here.

The south of the island is home to the precious ‘Flor de Sal d’Es Trenc’, still harvested via the methods of the Phoenicians and Romans. We’ll discover how the famous sea salt enhances health, before travelling on to S’Hostal de Montuïri. This quaint restaurant thrills locals with its ‘pa amb oli’, a typical Mallorcan lunch of roasted farmhouse bread, olive oil, tomato, ham and cheese. On the way back to the hotel, we stop at Gordiola to see traditional glassblowing.

Locals still buy cattle at the famous Mercat de Sineu, the oldest farmers’ market on the island. Enjoy free time before we visit the village of Petra and Finca Es Bosc Vell, famed for its organic meat.

Afterwards, explore Alcudia with its beautifully preserved city wall and atmospheric town centre. Next, visit the awe-inspiring peninsula of Formentor. Later, we’ll enjoy a farewell dinner and drinks together at a local restaurant in Palma.

Your tour comes to an end today. Scheduled group transfers are available to the airport, please see www.justyou.com/transfers
