To visit Petra during daylight is an awe-inspiring experience; but to experience it at night by the light of 1,800 candles is truly an out-of-this-world experience! Walk through the Siq to the Khazneh following a candle-lit path and enjoy the haunting music of the Bedouin at the Treasury.

Please note - This excursion will take place at night and the walk through the Siq (approx.1hrs there and 1hrs back) is illuminated by a dim light on uneven and uphill surfaces, therefore extreme caution and fitness is required. Torch is required.

The site of John the Baptist's settlement at Bethany, where Jesus was baptized, has long been known from the Bible and from the Byzantine and medieval texts. The site has now been identified on the east bank of the Jordan River, in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and is being systematically surveyed, excavated, restored, and prepared to receive pilgrims and visitors. The Bethany area sites formed part of the early Christian pilgrimage route between Jerusalem, the Jordan River, and Mount Nebo. The area is also associated with the biblical account of how the Prophet Elijah (Mar Elias in Arabic) ascended to heaven in a whirlwind on a chariot of fire.

Nicknamed “The Valley of the Moon”, Wadi Rum is one of the most extraordinary and preferred places for stargazers from around the world. A stunning backdrop of nature, boasting golden dunes during the day and the unique emptiness of star light at night. You’ll have a shared Stargazing experience where there maybe an opportunity to view the stars by Telescope followed by a talk.
Evening excursion – Minimal Walking – enjoyable
